Move over you mac nuts and make room for strands and shreds of tasty coconut. Here is Steve's favorite made from the best of the Cook Kwee's cookie recipes. Don't leave these cookies around Steve or you will end up with a crumb or two. If you like coconut, you'll love these tropical delights coconuts and mac nuts.
Here is one of my own family cookie recipes-
Annie's Gingersnap Cookies
Sift together:
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1.25 teaspoon of ground ginger powder
1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
.5 teaspoon of ground cloves
Now cream togetherL
2/3 cup of vegetable shortening
1 cup of white sugar
add
1 egg
1/3 cup of molasses
Now blend in dry ingredients, chill. Roll into balls and dip tops into sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and make in preheated 350 degree F. oven for 15 minutes.
