Sorry to say that we are almost out of all our inventory. We had to close our offices and warehouses in March, 2011 due to a problem the bottler of our sauces had with the local Health Department. We have not recovered from that set back.

All Arturo's Hot Flavors of Hawaii Sauces and Salsa were tested and proven safe. The official letter of clearance from the Hawaii Department of Heath arrived Tuesday February 15. You can read it on this page.

We are exploring all options to get back to making the best hot sauce in Hawaii and the World as soon as we can. In the meantime buy up what we got left here as they might become real collector items very soon.

Thank you everyone for your kind emails, phone calls, loyalty and confidence in Arturo's Hot Flavors of Hawaii Sauces, Salsa and Hot Sauces over the last thirty years.

There is only one co-packer in Hawaii who can make our sauces. Even though he is back in business as of May 10, 2011, we are not.

Until we get back up - please order what we have left.

The rest of the story:

All our sauces and salsa were made at the only co-packer here in Hawaii. The Hawaii State Department of Hawaii discovered a paperwork problem with the co-packer. Something happened between the Dept of Health and the co-packer. The Dept.of Health recalled all products made at the co-packer which included 36 of our sauces and salsa in January 2011.

Our lifeblood.

All our sauces and salsa were tested. The Dept of Health issued an all clear on all our sauces and salsa 18 days after the recall. The damages were done.

We are currently looking for an investor or partner to help us reopen with our own production facility. Until then we have had to curtail distribution of all our grocery tortillas and our sauces and salsa.
